How Posting Approval Works
Creative Reality is a curated platform. Before you can publish, we review your account to make sure you understand the format and are ready to contribute Hybrid work.
The process
Create your account
Sign up with your email. You'll need to confirm you are 18 or older, since the platform hosts mature creative work.
Set up your profile
Add a bio and select your creative roles (photographer, model, AI artist, etc.). This helps us understand your practice and helps collaborators find you.
Request posting approval
From your dashboard, review the platform rules and submit a posting request. You'll confirm that you understand the Hybrid-only requirement, the EXIF data requirement, and the content guidelines.
Team review
Our moderation team reviews your profile. This typically takes 24-48 hours. There is no fee or hidden requirement — we are checking that the account is genuine and that the profile is complete.

What we review on each post
After you're approved as a creator, every individual post still goes through content review before it appears publicly. Here's what we check:
EXIF metadata
We verify that the uploaded file contains camera data (make, model, lens, settings, date). This confirms the image started as a real photograph.
Hybrid Breakdown
We read the creator's description of the real photo source and the AI contribution to make sure it is detailed and credible.
Content policy compliance
We check that the content meets our content policy, including correct 18+ labelling.
Common questions
Can I browse without posting approval?
Yes. Anyone with an account can browse, react, comment, follow, and send messages. Posting approval only gates the ability to upload and publish work.
What if my request is declined?
You'll see the reason in your dashboard. Common reasons include an incomplete profile or unclear bio. You can update your profile and contact support.
How long is the Pro trial?
14 days from the date of approval. After the trial, you return to the Free tier unless you subscribe. You can still post on the Free tier.
Do I need a professional camera?
No. Smartphone photos are fine as long as the original file is uploaded with intact EXIF data. Most phones embed full EXIF by default.
